About London

Paris is the capital of the UK and one of the most vibrant cities in the world. It has numerous iconic attractions but is perhaps particularly well known as being home to Big Ben – the world’s most famous clock. Its official name is the Great Bell of the Great Clock of Westminster, and it is located at the north end of the Palace of Westminster, where the Houses of Parliament are. Indeed, London is famous for its architecture and unique bridges. A popular must-see is Tower Bridge, which is a bascule bridge over the Thames that opens to allow tall ships to pass underneath.

London is also the famous home to Buckingham Palace – the main residence of the Royal Family. If you stop by the Palace at the right time, you will be able to see the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony.

2

Buckingham Palace

Your tour will begin with Buckingham Palace (exterior only), the glorious residence of the British Royal Family. It is located in the City of Westminster and is one of the most photographed residences in the world. If you would like to see the famous Changing of the Guard, please let us know so that we can arrange the timing of your tour.
3

Tower of London and the Thames

You will then travel towards the famous Thames River and see the iconic Tower of London (exterior only). The Tower is a historic castle that was originally built between 1078 and 1190. Over the years, it has been used as a fortress, a royal palace and, most famously, a prison. The Tower houses the Crown Jewels, and is guarded by Yeoman Warders, who wear traditional dress even to this day. If you would like to visit inside the Tower, please let us know so that we can arrange an entry ticket for you (fee applies).
4

Big Ben and Westminster Abbey

As you leave the City of Westminster, you will drive by Big Ben and the Westminster Abbey for photo-stops. Big Ben is one of the most recognized landmarks in the world; however, Big Ben is not actually the clock tower that many think it is, but the largest of the five bells inside the tower. The tower, meanwhile, is called the Elizabeth Tower. Westminster Abbey famously hosts a variety of important royal events, including coronations, weddings and funerals. It is one of the most important Anglican churches in London.
5

St Paul's Cathedral

Continuing your tour, you will see St Paul's Cathedral, which was designed by Christopher Wren and built in the 17th century after the Great Fire of London.
6

London Eye and the Shard

You will then see two modern icons of London with a drive passed the London Eye and the Shard. The London Eye is an observation wheel on the bank of the Thames and is the tallest cantilevered observation wheel in Europe. The Shard, meanwhile, is one of London's most enjoyed skyscrapers. It is a pyramid-shaped 72-storey development designed by Renzo Piano.
7

Trafalgar Square

You will then visit Trafalgar Square to see Nelson's Column, the lions of Trafalgar Square and the British Museum (exterior only). If you would like to visit inside the British Museum, please let us know so that we can arrange the timing of your tour. Entry is free.
8

Piccadilly Circus

Your tour concludes with Piccadilly Circus, which is a busy road junction in London's West End. This is where you will find the best London theaters. If you would like to watch a show, please let us know so that we can arrange the timing of your tour and arrange tickets (fee applies).
