About Snowdonia
Snowdonia is a national park located in North Wales. In this region, you will find many beautiful hikes, as well as charming Welsh villages. Llanberis is well worth a visit and is a small colourful town in the heart of Snowdonia situated between two lakes. From here, you can reach Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, via the Snowdon train.
We also recommend seeing the ruins of the Dolbadarn Castle, which are located on a small hill, as well as the mountain village of Beddgelert. Its centre is crossed by a river bordered by magnificent stone houses. On your way to this village, you will probably hear about the legend of Gelert, a dog whose grave is at the foot of a tree behind the village church.
