About Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo is a city in the Principality of Monaco, located on the outskirts of France and Italy. It is known throughout the world for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which takes place on a circuit that passes through the heart of Monte Carlo.

This city is also known for its luxury, and it has a majestic casino designed by Charles Garnier. The casino features magnificent lounges and an opera theater and, if you have the money, it is utterly unique to visit.

Aside from the sumptuous villas and luxurious hotels, other places of interest in Monte Carlo are the National Museum of Fine Arts, the St Charles Church and the cathedral. Here, all the local specialities can be found, including barbagiuans (a stuffed fritta), socca (a flatbread made from garbanzo flour) and pissaladieres (a sort of pizza).
