About Cork
Cork is the third largest city in Ireland in terms of population and has some picturesque sights to enjoy, such as the ancient covered steps, the 16th-century Blackrock Castle and the university buildings.

Another religious building to visit in Cork is the impressive Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, which boasts a multitude of gargoyles and has some utterly magnificent mosaics.
For an original experience, visit Cork City Gaol. It is a former prison and has been thoughtfully restored and designed (via models) to give a realistic impression of prison life. In more recent times it was home to a radio station and so you will also find a Radio Museum on site.
