About Bath
Bath, located in Somerset near Bristol in England, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site thanks to its abundance of wonderfully preserved Roman baths that date back some 2000 years. As a part of your journey back in time, we highly recommend visiting the Thermal Baths Museum, where you can see thousands of archaeological finds from pre-Roman and Roman Britain.
Not far from there is the breath-taking Bath Abbey. It offers an incredible panorama of the city and is one of the largest examples of Perpendicular Gothic architecture in Somerset.
Another symbol of the city is the 18th-century Pulteney Bridge, which straddles the River Avon and is a classic example of the Palladian style.
For those with an interest in the Arts, visit the Jane Austen Centre to learn more about this famous author, or attend a performance at the Royal Bath Theatre.
