Croatia is one of the most idyllic countries in Europe, being settled on the edge of the Adriatic Sea. It is famous as the scenic backdrop of Game of Thrones and is home to some of the most beautiful architecture and sea views and you could hope to experience.

Popular cities include Zagreb (the capital), Dubrovnik and Split, each of which brings its own charming culture and unique attractions. There are also some particularly idyllic islands, our favourites being Mljet Island and Hvar.

Not only is Croatia home to breath-taking natural scenery and romantic seascapes, but it is also rich in cultural attractions. Examples of some of the top attractions are the Temple of Augustus in Pula, the magnificent park of Plitvice (featuring lakes and waterfalls, and a forest backdrop), the cathedral in Zagreb and Dubrovnik’s Old Town.
